Chlorine Turbo-compressor

This compressor adopts an integrated design, combining all pneumatic compression components, speed increasers, motors, and oil lubrication systems onto a single common unit base. It features a simple appearance, compact layout, and easy installation. The unit is designed for ground installation, requiring only a single-story factory layout, minimizing floor space and building costs. The compressor's two-stage impellers are mounted at both ends of the same horizontally arranged high-speed shaft, while the two-stage cylinders are cantilevered on both sides of the speed increaser. The speed increaser uses a single-stage acceleration and, together with the comb-tooth sealing device, employs a horizontally split design. This results in a simple structure, compact size, and convenient and quick maintenance, facilitating emergency repairs and reducing maintenance costs. The sealing system utilizes a four-chamber comb-tooth labyrinth seal structure, using dry nitrogen as the sealing gas, achieving automatic pressure regulation. This prevents chlorine leakage and contamination, prevents chlorine from mixing into the sealing gas and reducing its purity, and prevents chlorine from entering the gearbox and causing lubricant deterioration. Due to the non-contact sealing, mechanical losses are minimal.
