D, DF, DY, MD pumps are horizontal, single-suction, segmented multi-stage centrifugal pumps, with the suction port facing horizontally and the discharge port facing vertically upward. The pump housing parts such as the water inlet section, middle section, and water outlet section of the pump are connected into a body by tightening bolts, with bearing components at both ends, and the pump stage is selected according to the pump head.
The rotor part of this series of pumps is mainly composed of the shaft and the impeller, sleeve, balance disc and other parts installed on the shaft. The number of impellers depends on the pump stage. The parts on the shaft are fastened to the shaft through flat keys and shaft nuts to make them integrated. The entire rotor is supported by rolling bearings or sliding bearings at both ends. The bearings are determined by different models, and none of them bear axial force. The axial force is balanced by the balance disc, and a balance disc wear indicator is installed at the pump end to monitor the wear of the balance disc.
The sealing surfaces between the water inlet section, middle section and water outlet section of the pump are sealed with sealant or "O" rings. The rotor part and the fixed part are sealed with sealing rings, guide vane sleeves, etc. When the wear of the sealing rings and guide vane sleeves has affected the working performance of the pump, they should be replaced in time.
There are two types of shaft sealing: mechanical seals and packing seals. When the pump uses packing seals, the position of the packing rings must be correct, and the tightness of the packing must be appropriate so that the liquid can seep out drop by drop. The various sealing elements of the pump are installed in the sealing cavity, and a certain pressure of water must be passed into the cavity to play the role of water seal, water cooling or water lubrication. A replaceable shaft sleeve is installed at the shaft seal to protect the pump shaft.
During operation, the pump allows the rotor to swim axially in the pump casing. This type of pump generally adopts rolling bearings and dry oil lubrication structure (D85-67 and D155-67 pumps can use sliding bearings and thin oil lubrication structure, or rolling bearings and dry oil lubrication structure).
This series of pumps is directly driven by the prime mover through an elastic coupling. When viewed from the prime mover, the pump rotates clockwise.
According to the scope of use, it is mainly divided into the following types:
Type D: used to transport clean water without solid particles and temperature below 80ºC or liquid with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water. Suitable for mines, factories and urban water supply and drainage projects.
Type DF: used to transport corrosive liquids without solid particles and temperature between -20ºC and 105ºC. Users can reasonably select the material, sealing form, pump structure and determine the capacity of the motor according to the name, concentration, specific gravity, operating temperature and pump inlet pressure of the transported medium.
Type DY: used to transport oils and petroleum products without solid particles, temperature between -20ºC and 105ºC, viscosity less than 120 centistokes.
Type MD: used to transport neutral mine water and other similar sewage with particle content ≤1.5%, particle size ≤0.5mm and temperature between -20ºC and 80ºC.
