Pump tube selection According to the properties of the medium being transported, the pump tube material can be selected from 304 stainless steel, PP (polypropylene), Teflon (Teflon) and other materials, which are used in different occasions. The selection principles are as follows: 1. Flammable and explosive solvent media must use 304 stainless steel pump tubes. It is strictly forbidden to use PP pump tubes, which are easy to produce static detonation media; 2. PP pump tubes can be used for medium acid and alkaline corrosive media. The outer tube material must be (PP + imported Hastelloy main shaft). If the main shaft is 304, 316 stainless steel, titanium alloy material, it will still corrode. 3. Strong acid and alkaline media must use Teflon (Teflon) material pump tubes. The outer tube must be (Teflon + imported Hastelloy main shaft). At present, only our company has this technology. II. Motor selection Selecting a motor requires caution, which directly affects the overall performance of the pump tube. It can be considered from the following aspects: safety, economy, and practicality. 1. Installation location: indoor outdoor heating no heating 2. Factory ambient temperature: 20°C in summer 0°C in winter 3. If the medium is of medium and low viscosity and is not flammable or explosive, a single-phase stepless speed regulation 220V motor can be selected. The selection of a speed regulation motor has the following benefits: (ordinary motors are unsafe to use) (1) Controllable speed and flow control: During the process of dispensing the medium, the flow can be easily controlled, and the range is 0-160 L/min (2) Stable performance, safe and worry-free: When users transport dangerous goods media, they can easily control the pressure in the pipe to reduce safety accidents (3) Wider application and greater viscosity: The transport viscosity range is wider, which can reach 0-1500cps (4) Low heat generation and longer life: Reduce noise and heat during motor operation and extend the service life of the motor 4. For low-viscosity and flammable and explosive media, you must choose an explosion-proof electric motor. If the factory has an air source, you can choose to use an air motor, which will be more economical. The air motor must be imported and have a certificate of origin. Domestic air motors are very unstable. 5. Precautions for installation and use of barrel pump 1. Please always keep the motor in a vertical position. After use, it is strictly forbidden to invert the pump pipe and motor to prevent liquid from flowing back into the motor, corroding and damaging the motor 2. Please try not to run the pump dry. When the liquid in the barrel is pumped out, please stop the pump as soon as possible; 3. The connection between the motor and the pump pipe should be installed in place, otherwise it will cause damage to the coupling. Try to reduce repeated installation and disassembly to extend the service life of the coupling, coupling elastic block, pump head, and bearings 4. If the pump has no flow or unstable flow, stop the pump immediately and check whether the pump shaft can rotate flexibly. If the pump is stuck, continue to turn on the electric motor, it will cause damage to the electric motor due to overload 5. When using the speed regulating motors of the PT and TB series, the higher the viscosity of the medium, the lower the speed should be. For mediums with high viscosity, the motor speed is too fast, which is easy to cause heating and damage. Please refer to the viscosity range and read the operating manual that comes with it; when the motor stops halfway during operation and the switch fails, please don't worry, the motor is not damaged at this time, but because the motor temperature is too high due to long working hours, the protection switch in the motor cuts off the power supply. After stopping for 5-10 minutes to cool down, you can resume work. It is recommended to rest for 5 minutes every 20 minutes of work before working; 6. If there are often large particles or fiber impurities in the liquid, please install a filter at the inlet at the bottom of the pump; 7. Before transporting a variety of corrosive liquids, please ensure that the liquid will not corrode the pump pipe. It is strictly forbidden to use plastic pump pipes (PP and PTFE) and ordinary electric motors in explosion-proof occasions. 8. When using a barrel pump in an environment with explosion-proof requirements, be sure to use a stainless steel pump pipe and a pneumatic motor or an explosion-proof motor. It is best to ground the pump pipe to prevent static electricity and sparks.
