Butterfly valve is a butterfly plate that rotates together with the valve stem as an opening and closing part to realize the opening, closing and adjustment of the valve. In addition to being used for blocking and intercepting flow in pipelines, butterfly valves have taken sealing performance as the main evaluation indicator in recent years and have been favored by the market. In addition, butterfly valves also have the advantages of small size, light weight, and simple structure. Compared with gate valves with the same parameters, the average weight reduction reaches 30~50%. The opening and closing process can be achieved by rotating the butterfly plate 90°, and due to the butterfly valves on both sides of the rotating shaft The forces exerted by the medium on the plate are approximately equal and the torques are opposite, so the opening and closing torque is small.

1. There are two basic types, flange type and wafer type (center line) fully lined wafer type butterfly valve, which adopts a two-piece valve body combination, the valve seat and the valve body lining are integrated. When the valve is working , only the all-plastic valve seat and plastic-lined butterfly plate are in contact with the medium. The product can withstand
corrosion from any medium except molten alkali metals and elemental gases. The butterfly valve stem and butterfly plate (forged) are integrated, and the surface is evenly coated. Wrap in a layer of FEP. The inner surface of the valve body channel is smooth, the fluid resistance is small, the CV value is high, the flow capacity is strong, and the torque is moderate. It adopts a four-level sealing structure and is equipped with an elastic cushion valve seat of temperature-resistant and anti-aging SI rubber outside the sealing surface, fully achieving The medium will leak.

2. The flange-type and wafer-type semi-lined butterfly valves expanded from the above models have internal butterfly plates and valve stems that are not lined and are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel; while the valve body is fully lined. This structure is called a semi-lined butterfly valve.

 

Structural features:

1. The center line butterfly valve has the entire butterfly plate and butterfly seat concentric (center line) within a 360° circumference. It has a two-way sealing function and the pressure and flow can be adjusted freely.
 

2. Four-stage loaded elastic sealing absolutely guarantees quarterly leakage inside and outside the valve:
 

A. Reasonable interference between the special transition curve at the circumferential connection between the shaft head and the butterfly plate and the valve seat.
 

B. The end face of the shaft head adopts a combination of elastic O-shaped rings, steel washers and elastic rubber pads at the shoulder;
 

C. The radial direction of the shaft uses a combination of O-rings and metal pads:
 

D. The valve seat is set in the elastic valve body groove.
 

3. Using adjustable elastic pins for positioning, the positioning is accurate and the structure is simple.
